Topic: Lifepoems

So tired all the time,
Weak and flustered,
I close my eyes,
Wait for sleep . . .
A doze is all I can muster.

You tuck me in,
Under warm sheets,
Kiss my forehead . . .
Say goodnight . . .
Get some sleep.

I try to sleep,
To get some rest . . .
The nightmares,
Flashbacks . . .
A few winks at best.

So tired I am,
Of waking at night,
Close my eyes . . .
Just some sleep,
End this long fight.
