can it be real this time?
am i setting myself up for disaster?
will this once again be a mistake?
no, not this time
i see it in your eyes when you tell me you love me
i hear it in your voice when we speak
and feel it when you kiss me
for once in my life i feel complete
love is something wonderful but can also be miserable
the worry i feel when your away
the sleepless nights when your not lying at my side
the pain that it brings when all is not well
to feel such bliss is something amazing
but to know that one day it will only end in heartbreak
this love cant go on forever and this is what scares me the most
a day without you is unbearable
and a lifetime without you im scared to even contemplate
but the love i feel is to great
so if heartbreak is an inevitability then it is what im willing to endure
