page of innocence. . .

Contributed by elle on Sunday, 4th October 2009 @ 06:47:50 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

You give. . .

ambitious smiles
& freely share. . .

with all
ideas of hope. . .

So worthy of praise
& hand-holding afternoons.

Your hand, my hand
our frisbee, spinning delight.

You won that Special Saturday.
(you did your very best).

Not long after the ride out,
smiling, you said
"Let's go back & get my brothers. . .
share the day with them. . ."

remembrances such as this are always a fine line between heartwarming and heartbreaking, at least for me. Maybe they draw from the same emotional reservoir.

Well captured.
