Number over my head

Is there a number above my head
Counting down until Im dead
How would you measure this time
Walking in life so blind

Sitting and thinking and wondering when
My pitiful, and worthless life will end
When will my clock stop turning
When will my heart stop working

No one will ever know
When their heart will go
But my heart continues to beat
Until my clock gets weak

And then the day will arise
And will catch me by surprise
Ill look into your eyes
And die

The number above my head
Will have counted down to zero and Ill be dead
