Hear this voice of solitude, how is everything so colorful, yet I only see shades of grey?
A room made of cotton, has more life that this cave of empty light. Soothing voices and song, I will surely miss delight.
Gone is the day of laughter, and dust is left of smiles, now is only the blistering heat, of miles and miles and miles.
I am so tired, tired of being cold, tired of seeing them leave, tired of being old.
These hands of mine are tainted, tainted with stench and mold, reeking of the sand, the dirt and of the bold.
Smell the sweet, soft pain, taste the sour, sour heat. Look at what you have, where your bone meets the meat.
