What do you do
what do you say
when you dread waking up
to another empty day
You paste on a smile
you push back the tears
you look in the mirror
and are faced with your fears
You hold in all your problems
too scared of letting go
snapping at your loved ones
about things that they don't know
You feel like you've lost your purpose
and long to run away
but deep inside you know that
the problems will still stay
Your heart aches to see a friendly face
a feel love you give in return
people spooling out useless words
like when are you gonna learn
Lessons can only be learnt one way
and it hurts when you see its true
before you learn to love another
you must first learn how to love you
