Slippery Leaves

My time is as slippery as a leaf after a rain. I tend to tread cautiously, always with a hidden pain.
I dont have enough time, but I do have all the time in the world. Days fade to the yester and I remain the courts jester. My time now unfurls the constant sorrow and the time thats borrowed, wont be forgotten nor erased by the morrow. Time is the ultimatum and Im its classical bum.
But now the empty cup is filled with hope and darkness is superseded by the sun.
You freeze what remains. You offer water to the plains. You give blood to my veins. Youre times forgotten slave, freedoms token, raw truth from lifes pains.
Pour, shower, rain down on me. Soak me with your presence. Fill me with your love. Free me from the shackles of time. Youre my unbroken gleam, my undying spring, my bottomless grail. Save me from the slippery leaves and from this endless bleed. Give me some tranquility, some vainglory, and some way to see.
But Im still in the fields and numbness is all I feel. My dark emptiness is all thats for real.
Lets run, far away. Just keep driving, across that long desert road of unbridled youth and infinite future.
Let me drink from you and forget about the yester and the morrow. Ill ignore all priors and the slippery leaves of sorrow.
For you have arrested my duration. You have raped me without a violation, given me emancipation and stopped my diminution.
