I dont know who Ive become A sad reflect of who I once was Growing up has taken its toll Dreams lost somewhere along the way Morals set aside, with promises betrayed Selfish ambitions, heartless confessions Believing in my own lies Afraid to truly open up, letting the world inside I scream at the top of my lungs But only in my head These tears with meanings I never speak Though ill never admit it Feeling so sick to my stomach So tired of pretending When will I find the strength To speak of what Im really feeling Rain falling a perfect cover For the worlds most inconsiderate lover And my apologies, I was to blind to see To arrogant to understand Lead astray with a trusting hand With one last smile I let it die Cold with emotion. Im letting them inside.

Sad but great writing. It must have been hard to write this.
Great work.
Huggs, blessings,

The sincerety in your lines where almost tangible. Your life has not been imagined it shows that you have lived-Morgues |
