Everyone has urges, some strong, some uncontrollable. My urge can't be controlled, not wanting, needing. Feeling the need, calling for me, wanting me. Remembering, cold metal against my skin, slice! The life in red, streaming down my skin, warm. The sad music, fading in the back of my mind, quiet. My head feeling light, falling from my body, leaving. Bright lights in the distance, the warmth comforts me. I feel no more pain, no more worries, my world is safe.

I like that you portray the blood and the razor as something different for once. Not just as passion, rage or depression, but as a comfort. Interestingly soothing poem.. Great write. |
