Speaking to Love

Contributed by Durra1 on Thursday, 15th October 2009 @ 07:05:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Staring at the ceiling, shivering from cold under the blanket
the room is filled with the smell of dead roses in the basket
the clock is ticking loudly and her majesty is alone
and suddenly from no where a rose was thrown
she gets up to the window shocked and amazed
she sees a smile that can make any spirit highly raised
she looks, stares, smiles asking who are you
he answers am Love lady and thats true
she crosses her eyebrows and gives him the death stare
furious enough he replies how can you dare
life with no love is body with no spirit
its beauty, wealth, liveness and got no limit
she stares more into his eyes, i need no such a lecture
icare no longer about its meanings and various pictures
if you are love why are you wearing black
you're certainly not rich and beauty undoutly your person lack
i've come to heal the blindness and show you am easy to find
though my lady i've come to you with my picture in your mind
iam in each one of the persons deep down to his core
everone is asking for me and want me more and more
protection, security. satisfaction desperatly praying to get
though forgetting that i within themselves exist
search me in all the persons who had the pleasure of seeing your eyes
beneath evil, cruelty, dishonesty and their lies
there i will be lying waiting fo you to get me out
but dont make wait alot that i will have to shout
The beautiful lady blinked softly and smiled
and love turned to glitter sleeping every night next to her shoulder side to side

This is a great poem, I really, really loved the story, the idea. But, it was confusing at some points, I wasn't sure who was talking. I think it'd be good if you could change the structure a bit, put spaces, quotation marks, just a few things here and there to make it a little easier to read. Anyway, like I said, it was awesome.
Take care,
David
