There are many trees that grow
Many die showing gruesome death
Few decide to finally know
Seasons will change according to life's breath

Fall decides to change what was previously there
Leaves change reflecting their new mood
Everything is new which defies despair
Soon the new will have to be queued

Winter claims life leaving barren branches
Their life seemed to end just as fast as it started
Winter weather dealt a blow leaving few chances
Then comes the time for the truly uncharted

Spring rejuvenates bearing new fruit through winter's pain
The roots reach deep granting better connection
A crippling season gives way for new gain
Newly established roots enhance the passion

Summer comes bringing joy through the unknown
Enlightened bliss defies all feeling
The unknown can not conquer those who are not alone
Summers change is the most revealing

Seasons do change
The truth remains when push comes to shove
Survivors know there is nothing to exchange
All this was for love
