Ocean of Emotion

I'm slap bang in the middle of this Ocean of Emotion
I can't swim
Why turn the boat 'round on me?
Leave me to wash up when the tide comes in
Hope the Moon plays it's part
Silent waters

Deep breathe. I'm going under now
You'd rather hold my head under than pull me up
I'm not the one with the life jacket
You told me you can live without it
So why hold on?

You know I can't tread without you under me
Or do you?
Some many things are uncertain
Makes me wonder...
Why'd I dive in the first place?

We're only human
So sorrow seems like my only friend
Why's he hurt me every time I'm tryna sleep?
Why he throw me in the deep end?

Don't get hooked on bait just 'cos it's tempting
You know you'll just get caught in the net
But then I can't tell for sure if that's true
Murky waters

I'd rescue you
I'd sacrafice it all
I'm just second best
How do you think I feel?

We need to be a float
In this Ocean of Emotion boat
But how ever much I yell
You can't hear? Or won't tell?
Well I need you to listen now
As when I bite, seems not to work
As I said, that my best friend
He just come back, so here I go again...

The Emotional Waterfall - of an Ocean, oh so vast
Help me somebody please, I'm going under...
