I've been tryin' to ease this pain,
I've been tryin' to get him outta my head,
But I've just made it hard
Cos I've understood I can't do that,
So I've cried and rip out the lines
From our love story, but it's impossible.
I can't turn back time,
Cos I'm not God, but the human,

Days fly by slowly and sure,
And that's the way it's supposed to be,
But I'm not me since he'd been gone,

I just couldn't see that without him in my life
