Her eyes fill the night like flood lights, streaming, And i hope that nothing's there. I hope theres not a creeping stare, A frightened night owl screaming.
Whilst windows reap the suns first light The moon takes what he's given. He sits upon his silver stand, His demons to be counting.
And by the day He hides away No reason to use up his stay And feelings burst At matinee No feelings left for me to say.
But nightime hides the secret flare, a warning to be given. The streets light up, The poets jump, And the masses, they are driven.
