Dressed in smoke and watching things flare

Some words have fiction, some contain blinding truth.
This tale is up to you to believe.

I sat one night in the midst of turmoil, seeking compassion steamed with passion.
Lounging in the moonlit sky, my brother keeping me company.
For eleven years i walked the earth single, seeking knowledge and understanding.
Never giving my heart away, for it was never there to give.

We were on a simple high, nothing to bring the vision that showed.
At that time i ran with drugs, dark bitter anger with the mistakes i made in the past.
I was confused that my life still ran, to many times i gave that light away.
To only wake up in shadows.
I was tired of screaming at the sky, i new only the empty road.
Many friends surrounded me but the touch was a simple need i craved.

I watched the table shimmer, i looked to the sky.
Darkness was only shown, when before there we only stars.
The ground began to melt, the table lost solidarity.
A mixture of voices rang from the night, whispering golden boy oh aint he cute.
Darkness fell within my mind, a voice came within soothing but fear shaking me more then anything in this world.
It told me that time was coming near, things that we shown were to come true.
You will not be alone soon, for the love you seek you will find.
A ring or crown of fire burnt within my mind, i was jerking and twisting in pain.
I lifted my head to see if my brother has noticed.
He was speaking hatred towards me, in five different tongues.
He was like a demon possessed, speaking to the voices that emitted i thought threw my mind.

Then it was gone, the stars filled the sky, my body covered with sweat.
The little voice in my celebrated while the core of me was scared to walk.
I was told to write this long ago, but my body still aches when i think of that night.

The fear still rises out of this dream story or fact.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
