Staring at this white wall
That's more blank than me eyes
Listening to the silence all alone
Whispering my one wish
The wish I make every night
I wish that you'd wish for me too
Dreaming of a heaven
A heaven where you hold me tight
I wake up to another day of hell.
If you'd only give me a single chance
Give me a word; just one glance
And make my dreams and wishes real
Tell me secrets; I won't say you're weak
Touch my lips, and then kiss my cheek
Give me something to hold on to.
Dreaming of all that could be
Holding all I have to give inside
I want you to take it; it's all for you
Whispering winds touch my skin
Would your fingers feel like this?
The rain seems so inviting
Staring at this piece of paper
Why, it isn't so blank anymore
I've poured my soul out to you
Wanting what is only imagined
You're somewhere I cannot reach
Just give me something to hold on to.
