i dreamt last night
about a girl
eyes beautiful
filled with sadness and scars
she kissed me
laid her head on my chest
and dreamed
of me

her dream
about a boy
eyes brown
crying with tears
a man now
remembers the boy
and those tears
he holds her

awake
her head on my chest
my dream
her dream
come true
