First kiss was quick, adorable
Etched forever on my mind
We were young, I was gullible
That time, I was all about you
When our eyes first met,
It wasnt unusual
No ringing chimes like people said
Nor fleeting warmth, it was casual
Three words were short
You said I was special
Shyly reaching my hand to hold
Back then, it was mutual
Tears streaming as I wonder
Which part was I amiss
Occasions we were together
Had it all been a fallacy
When it was all first revealed
I tried understanding
Remorse you tried to mask
Sincerely, I was trusting
Then came the second,
A girl as credible as Id been
I tried tolerating
Regret that you performed
Numbing slightly as I realise
Never had it all been real
Blinded to the obvious lies
Ive been delusional
Once more was I deceived
Faith, conviction betrayed
I was disillusioned
That was our finale
Curtains closing in on the stages
A curtailed story at end
