Your heart In peace
A smile on your face
My gift to you
Sent compliments of the wind
Walk out in the sun
Walk out in the rain
Laugh and dance
The whole day away
If I could give this for you
Everyday of your life
I certainly would
Just to know you were smiling
Friends through the years
So many miles away
Yet never too far
To touch my heart
And so this gift to you
Is what I would love to give
For you to have
To brighten all your days
Yet try as I might
I never seem to convince
The powers that be
To make me a goddess
Not even for a day
