As I Walk Away
I have made a few decisions
That I think might interest you
Because you once said you Loved me
But that is no longer true
You know that I have loved you
For a Long time now you agree
But the time has never come
That you have promised me
I know you had good intentions
But that has changed now too
So the time for me to disappear
Is what I think that I must do
I can't go on being hurt like this
You see I have real feelings in my heart
They have started to become ragged
You are tearing me apart
I even told you baby
exactly how I feel
The things I said to you
Still are all so very real
I have told you long before this
That you did not need me any more
But you kept saying I was crazy
You said you Loved me even more
So each time I had asked you
What was going on with your life
You gave me another reason
But I just knew it just did not feel right
Please understand my Reasons
I feel that I am justified
I am tired of being without you
Many tears for you I have cried
Why you could not just let me go
A long time before now
But you didn't and I can't change that
I will get past all this some how
Don't you think that I don't Love you
In Fact I am still in Love with you
But that doesn't keep me warm at night
So to stay I see no use.
Now Please don't try and stop me
As I walk away from you
There is nothing else that I have to give
I have not already given you
Just remember me sometime
When I am no longer there
And remember that I might have been
If you just showed me you really cared.
I remember what you told me
The last time that we talked
That was the last thing I needed to know
And made me see I had to go
All I wanted was your love you see
You gave it once but then took it back from me
and to this day I don't Understand
What I did that changed all our plans
I accept it now as being the truth
I have already lost you so there is no use.
