Lullabies and Goodbyes

Contributed by tbsbikescene on Wednesday, 2nd April 2003 @ 10:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Ill read the lullabies
You re-site the arguments
Ill kill the goodbyes
One more breath until I fall for you
So crush my heart with your fist
Ill gag it out
Ill break my neck in 3
Just so I can catch a couple more seconds
Just so I can see you again
Im so undesirable
Youre so beautiful
Theses feelings are so brutaland I am going all out
Chainsaw to my veins bat to my brains
***** yous to I love yous
And memorys not going away
You oviously dont feel the tension between you and I
Im through with second chancesand Im through with this lost and found

did you know that writing is a mental thing. If they cut your arm off, pretty soon you would write with the other much as you did before. If you lost both your arms pretty soon you would write with you feet much as you did before, if you had no arms or legs and you held the pencil in your mouth, pretty soon you would write much as you did before. And if you write nice things, eventually, you will become nice. Yes, i often think of running.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
