I Cannot Get Over You

I cannot get over you
No matter how hard I try
I try to be just friends
But thoughts of you consume my mind
In my dreams your arms around me
And our fingers intertwined
Every word you said still lingers
I love you is what i find
I cannot get over you and you sure don't make it easy
You understand me and you know me
Not to mention the way you see me
You've taken over my entire being
With your good looks and your charm
You want me to be happy
You never meant any harm
You love me like your sister now
But thats not good enough
And if you don't feel it now
I'll just have to stay tough
I cannot get over you
I refuse to even try
And even if I wanted to
Aout my feelings for you I cannot lie
