I'm at the mercy of the wind,
the breath of life, the Holy Spirit,
though seldom does it try to bend
the the will of one who will not hear it.
So unencoumbered by remorse,
or doubt, or awe, or sense of purpose,
I simply bow and mount my horse,
and offer up my humble service.
A knight without a creed, or crest,
without a favor, or direction,
unadorned, unnamed, unblessed,
I struggle on to find perfection.
