I turn around and smile They never look at me I'm missing for a while They never notice me I cry myself to sleep Feeling so lonely
Just trying to find the answer to my life
It seems like yesterday I was a baby A gifted little child Who wondered maybe I sang myself to tears When they betrayed me
Just trying to find the answer to my life
The pictures of my life Are just a memory Our images of life Are just a fantasy The waves that ride the tide Are filled with mystery
Just trying to find the answer to my life Just trying to find some answers to my life

And then she grew into a gifted adult.
One of the things about a great poet is that they can invoke emotion with their poems. This one did exactly that!
Nicely done. Thank you for for an enjoyable read.
