Everlasting Moment

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Saturday, 14th November 2009 @ 01:49:56 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

My heart is torn in two that's true
All because I'm no longer with you
The way that you are and everything you do
Makes me feel hurt since I can't have you
We used to be the closest together
But it seems we now have nothing to weather
Can't we just turn time back to the way it used to be
When life was so easy and we were free
oh please tell me where we are now isn't reality

Do you remember the time we were so honest with each other
We would always laugh and talk like lovers do
Do you recall the day we were reunited
Once again we were back in each others arms
How your warm embrace tamed the anxiousness in me

That was just a stitch in time
A one time chance for us to rediscover what was lost
If only we could stay that way forever
If only that could be an everlasting moment

Splendid writing, it had warmth and plenty of sentiment I thought.

(Sentiment's a great word, don't you think?)

What an honest and vulnerable write.
Well written indeed. Full of emotion!
