Through My Eyes
During our conversations you said you knew how I felt, but did not understand why
Let me try to explain what I see as I look at you through my eyes
Through my eyes I see the lady filled with beauty, compassion, poise, passion and love
From within you glows a beauty that shines for the world to see
This is a beauty that many people fail to see
You possess a compassion and caring for those in need
It is a driving force of your personality indeed
Your poise comes from your inner strength that has carried you through
All of the rough times that the world and life has thrown at you
Your goals you have set to achieve show the passion you hold
Never give up on them and remember on some days you need to be bold
There burns within you the desire to be loved as you love, total and complete
When you meet this person the world will shake beneath your feet
This is the complete lady I visualize when it is you that I see
Even though you have never stood right in front of me
