Take my outstretched hand, then Fly with me; I know you can Fly with me, on golden wings Take my breath when you sing, and Fly with me; while the sun shines Fly with me, for a lifetime...
Your scent still lingers on my skin This night seems cold; air seems thin At times like this, my strength I doubt The sun has come out of the clouds Turn and look in those beautiful eyes I think I'm falling and it is no surprise Could I share this life with you? Hold me tonight; please make it true.
Turn to me, hold my gaze, and Fly with me; don't be afraid Fly with me, don't worry at all I've got you now, and you won't fall Fly with me; my lips you kiss Fly with me, and take that risk You might find what I found in you...
Fly with me, into the sky Into the stars, oh so high Fly with me, on my cloud By my side, will you stand proud?

Nice. I don't quite see how it's a spiritual poem, but that's ok. I'm sure that you know what it means though. :-p It's got some pretty decent rhythm too. I'm always picky about that. lol |

Very nice, I especially liked the first stanza, with your clever use of rhyme and repetition.
