He's my friend

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Monday, 23rd November 2009 @ 02:39:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You've been in my life for sometime, I can say
We've become friends and that's when things went my way
Tell me why you have changed; become like this
I never thought I'd actually see you act so sick
It was like an illusion came over me or some sort of trick
But now i want to see my old friend again
Tell me please, can I see him again

He's the one to always make my day
He's the one that makes my heartache fade away
He's the sunshine on a cloudy day
Yes he is, he's my friend

I want you to know that I am fine
But I want to make sure that you're all right
Call me extreme for the way I act
But you need to know that I care

I wanna see the one who always makes my day
I wanna see the one who makes my heartache fade away
I wanna see my sunshine on a cloudy day
Yes I do, he's my friend

Even though you've made some mistakes
Please don't worry it's never to late to change
Just take a minute to find the Lord and pray

You're the one to always make my day
You're the one that makes my heartache fade away
You're my sunshine on a cloudy day
Yes you are you're my friend

Nicely done, a highly compassionate write.
