The time was near
the choice was mine
as I walked across a very thin line
The only thing that was clear to me
was that my love was finally set free
and as quickly as it was
it was no more

When i learnt your feelings my soul was torn
all that is left to do is mourn
my love was for you
yours for another
there is nothing i can do
nothing i can possibly do
to see my love returned from you

as i sit here today
heart, broken and aching
only i am to blame
for the heart your breaking
although its hard i must give up on you
my one and only hearts love true
