Terrified Souls

Alone She WalkedThrough The Long Empty Path
Heading NowhereAs Pointless She Ran

Looking Around NowFlowers Stood BeyondAlmost Like StonesHave They Ever Seemed So Cold??? And What About The Trees? So Lifeless They SeemLike Every Living BeingAt Least Through Her Hazel Eyes

Hopefully Looking Up NowHigh At The Huge SkyBut It Seemed So Pile! Was It Ever That Shy??? And Where Are The Stars? They Must Have Left Her ApartWithout A Guide To ShineOr Any Light To GuardFrom Her Dangerous Thoughts In MindAnd Loneliness Deep InsideShe Felt Like A Lost Dolphin In A Bay

So Scared By NowShe Needs Somewhere To HideGod, She Wanted To Cry! But Where Could She Hide??? Away From Every Dark Eye
If Only She Could Fly!!! She Would Have Got Up HighAnd With A Bright SmileShe Would Have Said GoodbyeAnd Met Angel At SkyLeading Her To ParadiseWhere She Doesnt Have To Hide
She Would Have Then Survived!!!

Deep Inside Her MindShe Knew Something Wasnt RightAnd Despite Of Any Other LieShe Just Couldnt DenyHow Badly She Wanted To Die!!!

Be It FearOr Be It GuiltHer Soul Just Couldnt Bear
And MeanwhileSo Many Useless TriesCarried Out From Deep InsideTelling Her Not To CryBut Her Eyes Werent DryThough Hardly She TriedRivers As Long As NileFlowed All Through Her Sense Of SightSourced From Deep InsideHer Tears Filled Her Painful Heart And Eyes

More Than Any Desire BeneathShe Just Wanted To DisappearLeaving All Her FearsFade Away And Blow With BreezeBut It Wasnt Something She Could Make RealSo Her Head Took Place Between Her KneesCrying On Like Lonely Lost DeersAs Lonely As A Fall Season Leaf

While Almost Collapsed FeetThat Bench Had Re-appearedForcing Her To Increase SpeedTo Reach The Light Which Just SneakedIt Was Her Only Secret SeatTo Be Alone And Feel Peace...Thats How She Could Set Her Rosy Innocent Dreams

Finally She Felt A Bit SafeSitting On A Well-known PlaceBut Soon All Her FearsWere Expressed Through Her Non-Stop TearsAs The Seat Was No More A Place To Feel RealIts More Like An Unknown Fate To SeekOr A Vicious Destiny To Meet

Suddenly A Question Buried DeepCame Up Like A Young Grown SeedForcing All Her Senses Stop And FreezeExcept Her Hearts Fast Beats
Shall She Ever Feel Safe??? Shall She Ever Be Free???

Now Almost Came Back To LifeShe Hardly Opens Her Wet Childish EyesSo Hateful To Her Annoying DreamHoping It Never Turns Close To RealWas It Just A Stupid Dream??? Then Why Did It Seem So Real??? It Must Have Had An AimOr A Message To Be DeclaredLive Life, And Defeat Your Fears!!! Dont Ever Give Up, No Matter How Bad It SeemedBe Tough, Even If No One Was NearIts YOU Who Decide Which Dream To Make Real

Didnt You All Have That Dream??? Didnt You All Wake Up And Scream??? And To The Closest Friend You All Ran And Seek??? God, I Wish I Can ScreamI Wish My Dream Stops Coming RealI Wish I Could Find That Friend I NeedCould Anyone Wake Me Up Please??? I Really Want to Get Rid Of That Terrifying DreamI Just Want To Feel Alive, And RealAway From Every Vicious FearDoes It Sound Like Greed??? Im Not Asking For This To Come RealBut At Least...

Could This Be My Next Day Dream???

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
