Pull the wool over my eyes
Hide the truth of my demise
Let me sleep in bliss forever
Let me dream of perfect weather
Blow stormy clouds away
Let it rain some other day
Bask in eternal sunshine
And neglect these woes of mine
Let the snow fall today
And cover the tracks of yesterday
Let the rainbow gleam bright
With sweet promise and delight
May the world forget about me
Let me sleep eternally
And hide the truth of my demise
Pull the wool over my eyes
