What happened, my love?

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Thursday, 26th November 2009 @ 04:13:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My love I've come back for you
With kindness and abundant bliss
My darling, oh how I've longed to
Be reunited with you after so long

But what's that? Do you feel different?
Impatience has seemed to grow in place
Of that bubbly nature that lit up a room
What else is wrong? Do you feel short tempered?
It seems that anger has now clouded
That positive thinking personality
The one I used to call my friend

I come to you with love and friendship
But all I leave with is tears and remorse
I visit with a tender caring heart
But I depart with anger and frustration
If only you could imagine what I feel
Nevertheless a friend does not
Wish such anguish on a loved one

As I lay me down to sleep tonight
I shall dream of the one I love
He will be forever with me
Since he seems to have left you
Yet he can return if you wish
For I know if he's within you
I will be joyous too

I guess your right. We can't change what happened. Perhaps, mourning over it would probably make things work. Anyway, thank you for the positive comment.
