A Cool Breeze

Contributed by Balmain_Tiger on Friday, 27th November 2009 @ 01:54:53 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

With the cool breeze on my skin
All my worries seem to go in the bin

Basking under the warm sun
There is not much that is more fun
Cloud watching on a warm summer day
Glancing as I watch the children play

As they frolic by the sea
And to take photos whilst on my knee

The picturesque of a wondrous time
My whole life is kept in rhyme
Such joy such pleasure being a dad
So happy with the pleasures I had

Leaving can be arduous though right
This when time passes in the night

With but memories never to elude
Whilst alone in my solitude
Knowing a new day will always start
And that nothing will ever keep us apart

With a cool breeze to start the new day
I will never have it any other way

"All my worries go in the bin"........loved that , so straightforward, felt like you were having a conversation with a friend throughout the poem.
I sometimes think the weather feeds our emotions, it was nice to see something on a similar theme

Very beautiful, relaxing write.
Reminds me of when I was a kid. I use to kick back on the ground and wath the sky for hours.
Awesome.
huggs, blessings, smiles,
emy
