May you ever be so precious
Whether it may be to me or someone else
Should our feelings come to past
We would spend our time together forever
Yet this to most this isn't meant to be
You know each other, you and me
The distance we are is far apart
In living, age- yes definitely age
If only we were closer together in that area
Why you'd be my only one my dear
Where could we possibly start
Our rendezvous are short; lasting for a moment
We are then pulled apart by the force of reality
Yet should we question our situations
Since we aren't in full control here
For if we take matters into our ow hands
We shan't succeed
Oh my darling I wish things weren't this way
But I know it's for the best
Being closer together is my wish
My dearest desire of all
Yet I know this is how it is
Separation and all
