Why is life so hard?
I have lived so long behind a facade,
I have felt so much pain,
All of it for others gain,
Always make them laugh,
Even if it makes you look daft,
When will it end?
How much longer can I fend?
Today I just lay down and cry,
All my fake smiles seem to die,
Lord, why must this be?
Will there be no happiness for me?

I just realized tonight the exact same thing.
I realized that my friends won't be there to catch me when I fall.
I'm on my own.
I know What you're going through.
Very well written poem.

we are all self-intersted.
do what u really desire (appropriately)
and you will be impressed with yourself.
