Isn't funny how it seems
So easy to let go of the things
As you thought for whatever reasons
Were never yours.
And isn't funny how it may seem
That I'm still trying to hang on
What never really belonged to me,
Somehow thinking that it's my own.
I don't wanna say goodbye,
And I don't wanna cry,
Even if I know you're not mine,
I don't wanna let you go,
And I don't wanna love again.
You know, my love, I'm wondering
Is there that hour comes
When you understand
That you're the one I need.
I don't wanna choose from
A millions of the pros and cons
Why I need so much to have you here.
I don't wanna run away without
The understanding of the gist
Of the way I really feel inside.
I know I'm tied of the chariot
Of my own impulse sometimes,
But I admit I don't wanna bunch of man
To know that you're the best.
I don't wanna say goodbye,
And I don't wanna cry,
Even if I know you're not mine,
I don't wanna let you go,
And I don't wanna love again.

I know that there was time,
When I was really messed up,
I was looking for a cat in the darkroom,
Knowin' beforehand that it isn't there,
I wanted to hide the way I feel for you,

And do the things I love so much to do,

Even if I want so bad to cry.
