~Winters Breath~
Trapped under the ice
Of a winter wonder land,
Yet I still breath.
No sunshine, except the
Sunshine that flows,
Out of your essence.
Everything is frozen,
Except for my heart
Which blazes from within,
Because I let you in.
The ground is covered
in winters breath yet,
I see the flowers, and
Butterflies, come through.
The snow beats its
Rhythm and rhyme,
Against the window
But I no longer care,
Because my hearts
In your care it is no longer
Stone cold, it is warmed
By you my love..

I enjoyed how you brought nature into your real life living, winter..... and loss, awaiting spring...new love....... how though winter has come your heart still continues and is filled with love and though there is ice there is hope........ yes I relate to this on many levels.
