You shatter the truth and hope to return The lies will haunt you, in perdition you'll burn Flickering flames and rising heat You let out a war cry of mournful defeat Blind to victory, which lies up ahead Death holds your life in torment and dread Trapped in the shadows of pitch black night A knife through your heart and the end of the line No light to walk into, but darkened dispair With aching hearts, and burdens to bear

Very chilling, and forthright.
Nicely executed Demon, I love it!

What a straight foward and yet
simplistic strenght this piece has,
truly compelling in it's expression
i love the unsuspecting eliment
in the tittle as well . . .
