Black night no light

My aim is aligned, the fire burns bright
To pierce through the heart of another black night
No light to brighten my dreary gaze
The moon, vanished in cloudy haze
Graveyard silence fills the air
Remaining now, a cold hard stare
Standing here, with time to kill
The shifting winds are loud and shrill
They call to earth, awake it's life
The sun is lost, no morning light
