SUICIDE AT XMAS?
EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY
I WALK THROUGH PLACES WE WALKED
RECALL THE WORDS THAT WE TALKED
THE LOVE I WAITED SO LONG TO FIND
IS NOW PLAYING TRICKS WITH MY MIND
IM NOT GETTING ANY STRONGER
CANT GO ON LIKE THIS TOO MUCH LONGER?
IVE TURNED INTO A GHOST
FOR IM HIDDEN BY MY PAIN
AM I SLOWLY GOING INSANE?
WHEN SOMETHING THAT YOU LOVED DIES
BECAUSE OF THE DECEIT AND LIES
HOW CAN I PUT INTO WORDS
HOW MY HEART FEELS?
INNER THOUGHTS NO LONGER SEEM RIGHT
AND WORRY PLAGUES ALL MY DREAMS EVERY NIGHT
ITS OH SO LONELY IN MY HEAD
WOULD IT NOT BE BETTER TO BE DEAD?
IF NOTHING LASTS FOREVER
SHOULD WE STILL STAY TOGETHER?
EVERYTHING HAS GONE NOW
MY JOB, MY FAITH IN PEOPLE,
MY LOVE, MY HOPE, MY DREAMS
IS MY LIFE REALLY AS IT SEEMS?
IS THERE NOT ONE OTHER WAY
TO MAKE THIS PAIN GO AWAY?
MAYBE SUICIDE AT XMAS?
THERE CAN BE LITTLE DOUBT
ITS THE COWARDS WAY OUT
BUT AT LEAST ALL MY SUFFERING WOULD END
AT LAST SOMETHING ON WHICH TO DEPEND

The poem is written wonderfully,
But, using capital letters is wrong
If we use capitals for all the words
It will hit at the face of the reader surely
The poem has superb rhymes indeed
You are indeed a great poet my friend
Keep it up and write more and more
Always proceed positively please! |
