I see footprints in the snow
In the sand and all around
Only wondering if the one i was looking for
Was finally found
Many new lights have come and gone
As Ive walked under this same sun
Paranoid, tired, and broken
Chasing the past and still searching
Why is it so hard to let go of this pain
My eye's haven't seen your image in so much time
My dreams wont let you go either
The past was so long ago but i cant leave it behind
And so as i walk still completely alone
I finally find out that the footprints i was following
Were my own
