darkest remnant of bliss Wow!!! This gave me the feeling of someone falling into a deep depression and drinking themselves into oblivion. Not trying to be Mr. Smarty Pants ... it really did. You have always had great power of the pen...of your words.

Fortunately I've never been tempted down the
perilous road of drugs - but having read your
poem, I think this must just about sum up the
consequences of such a journey!
