Christmas time is here
a day meant for us to celebrate
with all the ones you love
together on this special date.
Stockings hang over the fireplace
and ornaments decorate the tree
the smell of fresh cookies in the air,
it's a wonderful place to be.
I love you's are exchanged
as we see each smiling face
I feel no anger in me
just sweet moments of grace.
It doesn't snow here
but it's still a winter wonderland
This day fills my heart with joy
in ways I cannot understand.
But Christmas comes and goes
for it's only just one day.
Being with you makes my heart soar
cause you always make me feel this way.
