Slowly But Surely

We live in a world of athletes, Where everyone seems to sprint until the end is reached. Many run so fast They can be considered All-Stars.
Life is not a race, yet most, especially the Young at heart cant wait to shorten it. There is an unexplainable urge to become grown, But those grown share the common feeling of regret. A Pattern? Possibly
Possibly life is meant to flash before our eyes, Meant for us to look back and wish it could rewind. Or maybe new generations can learn from the epidemic feeling of regret And realize lifes purpose of a journey.
Ive experienced love and friendship, A life fulfilled and unarguably unfulfilled. Yet I am learning the patience not to delve Deeper in the caves of these aspects of life. I will explore cautiously, and enjoy my findings if possible.
Strength through the mind is the essence of success, And this wisdom can only come through a life experienced, Enjoyed, not one that passes like a shooting star. Is success not the goal word of life? Then why not search its root? Our lifes length is controlled by time But our control exceeds normality With effects just below eternity, or the feeling of it.
Let us be adventurers, the ologists of this complicated Idea of Life.
If so, we are not yet so doomed. We are not yet so lost, so regretful. And to be not, is indeed to be And this life one can only wish to be. Slowly but surely, hopefully, we will be.
