Anger singes, darkness falls, white noise ceases.
Silence is deafening, like a blow to the ears
Pain flares, sparks fly behind the eyes
Pink mist wets the face
Everyday life is never the same
Innocence lost, a subconscious twist
Plot thickens, fury persists
Knowledge is nothing to the gullible and weak
Drugs and blood run loose in the streets
The alleys crawl with cats like me

| very effective use of words and imagery can really feel the darkness in this poem esp like the last verse well written |

Its like Crime Fiction/Film Noir poetry. Its not a joke (I know that sometimes people think I'm not serious). Its a good thing. I like that its almost a beg/plead for help and the ultimate surrender to the darkness.
