HOw is it that I can give you all my love
Willing to give my life to save you when push comes to shove
And you still reject me
I changed myself to be a better guy
But after the rejection I couldn't hide darkness inside
I knew it was all an illusion, but I loved the lie
The lie that I was ok and nothing was wrong
Even singing cheery songs
I though we had each other
But you only had me
I never had you, cause I was too foolish to see
That trying to be merry just wasn't me
I sadi that the break up didn't bother me
And that statement was true
It doesn't bother me, it p***es me off
That I lost another girlfriend, but this time it was you
I had lost you before I knew it and I never had a clue
Since I have nothing left
I'll let the darkness rule me through and through
So even if you "come back around" to me
I won't be the same person that you use to see
