The stars shine brilliantly in the blackened dome
And I am reminded of your soft, green eyes
So beautiful at times that I want to cry
Sparkling as bright as those polished gems up above
A light breeze gently blows, caressing my cheeks softly
And all I think about is your warm touch, your beautiful face
Your strong embrace that protects me from my fears
In your arms I feel so secure, knowing that is where I truly belong
As I walk slowly through the soft sand
It fills between my toes, reminding me of our wonderful times together
Of those days when you and I were young and free
So full of love for one another, willing to die for the other
The cool water splashes against my feet
But I dont even notice, for all I can think about
Is how much I love you and I hope you had a clue
For you left before I had a chance to let you know
How much I really do care for you
