selfstruggles

As I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. I hope I die before I wake, And pray the Lord my soul to take.
Please forgive me, I've gone astry. They tell me I'll understand one day. My dreams are dead, my hope has flown. God please help me to lie on my own. I don't know what else to do, But I can't waste my life living for you. I need to run, please let me fall, Though these have been your dreams all along. I will escape from the stigma of you; I would die, but living is something I cannot do.
I don't know who I am, lost and floating in a dying world. I have no place; I'm purposeless. This apathy is my biggest sin: I'm paralized by fear, lost in the dark. God, please show me a place for my heart.
