Me, Myself & I (Leave Me Alone)

I need you to leave me alone for awhile
Please do not worry, honey, it's personal,
And this has nothing to do with you
I just need a little time to work things out,
Only me, myself and I.

Though it tears my heart apart
And makes it so hard not to cry,
Please, won't you leave me alone
With the tears and fears I keep inside
Cos you won't help me out anyway, honey,
I gotta go through this on my own
So just leave me alone for awhile.

It's not that I don't love you,
Just the things got too complicated
There's too much I need to think through
So don't blame me on my foolish desire,
Cause with me nothing is easy
And it's especially obviously now
I just need to handle this,
Only me myself and I.

Though it tears my heart apart
And makes it so hard not to cry,
Please, won't you leave me alone
With the tears and fears I keep inside
Cos you won't help me out anyway, honey,
I gotta go through this on my own
So just leave me alone for awhile.

Give me a little time to cry aside,
And say goodbye to my inner fears,
I promise you, love, I'm gonna be alright,
Just give me a little time to go thru this
You won't help me anyway if you stay here
Though I want you so much to stay with me,
When it tears me up inside, when I'm cryin'
But it's only my thing, only me, myself and I.
