This is my gift to You

So a week has passed
Who would ever had a clue
To what has happened an amazing
Blessing so far and few

A part of me has been awakened
That died so long ago
Trying to find the reason
But I just dont seem to know

I wanted to give some small
Token to express the way I feel
But nothing seems sufficient
Nothing seems to be real

The only thing I can give
Is the largest part of me
My heart, my soul I give to you
And I give them all for free

Just remember they are very fragile
Please take hold of them with care
I hope that you know what Im giving
For me is extremely rare

The truth is the gift Im giving
Cant really even begin to compare
With the blessing Ive been given to get
Know you, this Im well aware

So heres to what tomorrow holds
And the blessings there in
Ill be here if you need me
And my prayers are with you to the end.
